Joana Bonifácio da Silva
From an early age, I felt a familiar and comfortable with words, reading, and writing stories. Studying communication was a natural and uncomplicated choice – one that I always thought I would make (even whilst writing my 3rd grade essay, ‘What will I be in 20 years’). Today, at 24, the desire to write, read, listen, and create new stories is, in essence, the same as it always has been for me. There are other worlds, not far distant, that interest me too and that I would like to explore: cinema and the visual and plastic arts. Basically, I am nothing more than a perfect example of someone who has always lived near the sea and who has been surrounded by never-ending pine forests.
