Paul Allen

Holding an Honours degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Paul joined CAT (Centre for Alternative Technology) in 1988, to assist with development & production of a wide range of renewable energy systems including solar powered medical systems for use overseas – helping develop CAT’s spin-out engineering company Dulas Ltd.
 
In 1995 he became CAT’s Communications Officer, and is currently External Relations Officer, leading the Zero Carbon Britain research programme. Paul is also Member of Wales Science Advisory Council (2010) and a Climate Change Commissioner for Wales (2007).
