Rita Pinho Matos
I’m Rita Pinho Matos, I survived to the 27 club myth, I come from São João da Madeira (Portugal’s shoe and hat-making capital) and I have the best and worst job in the world (I’m a journalist, of course). I like to walk the streets in pajamas and slippers (Google Maps has already spotted me in these messy garments); I don’t like lamprey (just seeing them in the fish bowl gives me the creeps). I like strong emotions; I don’t like Sundays. My greatest passion is my dwarf rabbit, Bunny Heidi.
I was born on 5 June, 1986 (my sun sign is Gemini and my ascendant is Sagittarius), in Oliveira de Azeméis, but I had lived most of my life in São João da Madeira. When I was a child, I wanted to be a journalist, an actress, a football referee and the President of Futebol Clube do Porto, but I only chased one those dreams. Later a new dream emerged: having a novel published. “Ponto Zero” saw the light of day in May, by the hand of Porto Editora, through their new digital publisher, Coolbooks.
