Vítor Briga

Vítor has been giving training sessions since 1996 in the fields of creativity, emotional intelligence, communication, acting, coaching, leadership and team building. He has given over 600 courses in Portugal, Spain, Brazil, and Mozambique, and has created innovative programmes by applying cinema, theatre and clown techniques to soft skills training.

His teaching experience binds him to training individuals on how to be creative in the ‘Team Building and Leadership Training’ post-graduate course at the Higher Institute of Applied Psychology (ISPA) and in the ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship’ Master’s degree at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.

After a short experience as a lawyer, Vítor decided to change his life and dedicate it to the world of creativity and personal development. He completed his Master’s degree in ‘Cinema History and Aesthetics’ at the University of Valladolid (Spain) and majored in spectator psychology. He also received training in acting by the Porto-based professional company Seiva Trupe, and in clown and improvisation by, among other, artists from the Cirque du Soleil and actors from the New York Film Academy. 

Vítor has attended various courses on adult psychopedagogy and neuro-linguistic programming and has received training in creativity by the Disney Institute (US), ‘Parallel Thinking’ by the Edward de Bono Foundation (Malta), ‘Lateral Thinking’ by Indigo Solutions (UK) and ‘Management of Personal Energy’ by The Energy Project (US). He has received certification with honours in leadership skills by the Universidade Complutense de Madrid (Spain) and is a certified coach by Joseph O’Connor of the ICC – International Coaching Community.

He is the author of the book ‘From Clone to Clown – The art of having (and selling) Creative Ideas’ that has been published by Editora Vida Económica.

Vítor also meditates on a daily basis, enjoys theatre, cinema, laughing and discovering the world.
