Ultimately, consumerism wasn’t invented to be reasonable or sustainable. On the contrary, rather, people are constantly being pushed into buying things they have no need for, objects that just aren’t designed to last, houses that are bigger than we require. So, how can capitalism become more sustainable? This is one of the many ideas that Maximilian presents here, listen to what he has to say. 


Maximilian Martin is the Founder and Global Managing Director of Impact Economy SA, and the Founder and President of the Board of the Impact Pledge Foundation. He also serves as Founding Faculty in Residence at Ashoka U (USA) and lecturers in Social Entrepreneurship & Finance at the University of St. Gallen, in Switzerland.
